There are two different types of night life in Cuba: On the one hand, the traditional Cuban night life and on the other side, there are entertainment programs offered by hotels in the hotel facilities or on the beach. Characteristic for the traditional nightlife are especially meetings in cafes, bars, local dance halls, discos and clubs. The traditional nightlife is particularly practised in the capital Havana. There, people sing and dance, laugh and of course - how could it be otherwise - have the traditional drink of rum. The club "Tropicana" is particularly known for its shows, where world-class dancers perform to local beats.
