On Saturday, August 20, 2011, I had the honor of presenting to Dr. Julius Garvey the signatures from the online petition and a copy of Marcus and the Amazons. The event took place at the Rootz Extravaganza in celebration of the 124th anniversary of Marcus Garvey's birth.
