US, Cuba players find friendship in softball

HAVANA, Cuba (Reuters) -- There were hugs and handshakes all around on Friday as teams of older US and Cuban softball players ended a "friendship" tournament they hope will set an example for their respective governments.They said who won or lost was less important than finding they were not enemies.

Kuwait assists in rehabilitation of Cuban aqueduct

HAVANA, Cuba (ACN) -- Representatives from Cuba and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) have signed an agreement for a joint project to rehabilitate the eastern Holguin city’s aqueduct. The Kuwaiti financing is to be used in the setting up of main and secondary water lines.
