Dear Sir:
"The status quo" is such a powerful phrase. People bow to it and fight for its survival. Such is the case with Haiti and the Diaspora. They are afraid to challenge "status quo" for fear of its repercussions to them personally and financially. What would Haiti "be" if we fought the "status quo" and were victorious? And so it is...
Haiti is the body now covered in jawed leeches that have grown fat and complacent but still have room for more financial growth. Sadly, they are allowed to remain attached because they are viewed as the cure for Haiti. Forty years of attachment makes them very difficult to remove. These social agenda, "aid the poor" leeches take many forms. Some simply use the verbiage of "aid the poor" to steal and some go so far to cover their thievery by putting into place an "aid the poor" facility.
This complacency is found in the "funny numbers" book keeping of Partners in Health, Boston, MA., to the donors who state "I don't care about the money only "aiding the poor". It's an epidemic, and for all of the billions USDs (yes, billions) over the last 40 years of "aiding the poor", what has it gotten Haiti? Nothing! People are starving while tons of food sit at the port with no way to deliver it because roads do not exist. Enough with this money sucking "aid the poor" charade!
My goal was to prevent the Queen (Madam Pierre-Louis) and King (George Soros) of "aid the poor" leeches from taking the throne and replacing them with hard-nosed, brick and mortar, construction leaders. It was critical to prevent Madam Pierre-Louis from becoming the prime minister and opening the flood gates on "aid the poor" money sucking leeches that will now stream in from America. No, it won't be textile manufacturers or boatloads of construction equipment, plumbing, and electrical supplies but smooth talking, first-class flying, social agenda elitists..
Madam Pierre-Louis' idea of infrastructure, is to build "community wells" where people only have to walk one mile to obtain clean water in a dirty bucket and carry it back home. That's not "aiding the poor" but further humiliating them. I want that "aid the poor" money put into clean water run that is plumbed into the home and used at will to drink and to maintain sanitary conditions therein. That's "aiding the poor". Under Pierre-Louis, if you want clean running water in a facility, you must go to her "cultural centers" and hear a speech on sexual orientation first.
To deflect from their own thievery, they loudly proclaim "fire" in the form of the USA as the villain, while they raid the money coffers of Haiti. It works like a charm. Soros, PIH and RFK Center recently launched a "fire" campaign with their "Right to Water in Haiti" project that lambastes America as evil.
Meanwhile, what happened to the $67 million dollar grant awarded to Zanmi Lasante in 2003 by the Global Fund to Fight Aids? Ms Loune Viaud who managed Zanmi Lasante (and a RFK Center Human Rights Awardee) masterfully wrote the proposal that got ZL the $67 million. Where did it go? Where is it accounted for in your financial statements? This is the kind of gamesmanship I am thoroughly disgusted with in Haiti.
The King and Queen are going to push forward and expand the well established band-aid, "aid the poor" and cry "fire" approach that has devastated Haiti for 40 years. I am against this "aid the poor" fiasco and staunchly in favor or using that funding for brick and mortar, infrastructure construction. The latter is the "cure" for "aiding the poor".
