GEORGETOWN, Guyana (GINA): Head of State President Bharrat Jagdeo was paid a courtesy call by His Royal Highness Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward, Duke of York at State House.

Accompanying Prince Andrew, the second son of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was Mr Yohan Eliasch, a Swedish businessman who, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has an interest in investing in Guyana.
Prince Andrew currently works for the Department of Trade and Industry as the United Kingdom’s Special representative for International Trade and Investment.
Eliasch is expected to interact with several local entrepreneurs to explore investment initiatives in Guyana.
The Prince and the Swedish tycoon are guests of the government on a private visit.
His Royal Highness first visited Guyana in 2004. While on his stop over during a Caribbean tour, he met President Jagdeo and visited several organisations including the Salvation Army Men’s Social Centre.
