Letter: What are our leaders in Antigua doing?

Published on Friday, March 16, 2007 Email To Friend    Print Version

Dear Sir:

The letter of March 14, 2007 from Mr Adrian Loveridge is very timely and it should cause those leaders to stop and think about what they are doing to the people of their respective countries.

For the past year all you hear coming out of the mouths of the leaders is the amount of money the country will be making during the World Cup season.

If the outlook is that bad for Jamaica and Barbados, who have a bigger market than Antigua, only God knows what it will be like for Antigua.

I do hope the leaders in Antigua have a chance to read Mr Adrian Loveridge's letter and then explain to the people of Antigua and Barbuda how are they going to pay back all of the borrowed money.
