Taiwan donates US$375,000 to Belize for foreign ministry enhancement

Email To Friend Print Version | BELMOPAN, Belize: The prime minister of Belize, Said Musa, on Tuesday received a visit at his Belmopan Office from Taiwan's ambassador, Ting Joseph Shih.
The ambassador presented the prime minister with a cheque to the government of Belize for US$375,000 (BZ$750,000) representing the second stage of the project for the year 2007 to “Enhance the Foreign Ministries of the Central American countries and to promote foreign trade and investment in the Region.”
The prime minister thanked the ambassador for Taiwan’s cooperation programmes with Belize and the region. | | | | Reads : 388 | | | |
