PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad:  FirstCaribbean International Bank’s operations in Trinidad & Tobago are now under one roof.

On July 13, the bank officially opened the doors of its new offices at No. 74 Long Circular Road in Trinidad. The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held at the new location, was attended by a number of representatives from the Government of Trinidad & Tobago, FirstCaribbean clients, employees and leaders.

According to Lloyd Samaroo, Managing Director, Trinidad & Tobago, the fully outfitted space, with the capacity to accommodate 50 employees, promises a number of immediate and long-term benefits for the Bank and its customers.

“This is truly a landmark occasion, which we are pleased to celebrate with our colleagues, customers and partners here in Trinidad and throughout the region,” he said. “This move will certainly help us to expand our services and increase efficiency and productivity, while enhancing teamwork, one of the bank’s hallmark values.”

Samaroo added that relocation to Long Circular Road will enable FirstCaribbean to offer its customers at a single convenient location, market-leading Capital Markets and Corporate Banking financial services, Leasing, Deposit taking, Foreign Exchange trading, Treasury and Wealth Management products provided by a professional team of banking talent. The move is also expected to facilitate further growth and expansion now that the Bank has a full commercial licence.
