PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad:  In time for winter holiday travel and the annual Carnival festival, Trinidad & Tobago will welcome two new non-stop Delta flights. Delta will begin weekly non-stop service from the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta to Crown Point International Airport in Tobago on December 15, 2007.

Twice weekly non-stop service from John F. Kennedy’s International Airport in New York to Piarco International Airport in Trinidad will begin on December 20, 2007.

“The addition of these new flights allows for easy access to the destination and will introduce the vibrant culture and charisma of Trinidad & Tobago to a huge segment of travelers in North America,” said Dr James Hepple, President of the Tourism and Development Company of Trinidad & Tobago.

To celebrate the new JFK service, Delta is offering special one-way fares that start at $199. Additional taxes, fees and restrictions apply and fares are available for purchase only on delta.com or from a travel agent. Tickets must be purchased by July 12, 2007, and travel must be completed by April 30, 2008.
