Subject to a some further Home Office paperwork, Scotland will team up again with Roberto Martinez, his manager at Swansea last season who moved to take over Wigan following the departure of Steve Bruce to Sunderland.
The 30-year-old scored 24 goals for Swansea last season as the Welsh club enjoyed a mid-table finish in the Championship (second division) having won promotion the previous season.
"Jason is a natural goalscorer, I can't really put it any other way. Every manager wants a player who has that clinical ability to make something happen in the box, and Jason can do that," Martinez siad. | | | | Reads : 680 | | | |
