CARICOM Bureau meets in St Vincent

BASSETERRE, St Kitts (CUOPM):  The 22nd Meeting of the Bureau of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will be held on Saturday, May 26 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Caribbean Prime Ministers who are members of the Bureau will discuss further developments of the Governance of the Caribbean Community and get an update on preparations for the Conference on the Caribbean in Washington, D.C. from June 19 to 21, as well as preparations for the Donors Meeting on Agriculture to be held in Trinidad and Tobago on June 2 .

Major issues and recommendations coming out of the 23rd Special Meeting of COTED on Transportation held in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from May 19 to 22 and the Fourth Meeting of the Council of Ministers of National Security and Law Enforcement held in Trinidad and Tobago on May 23 and
24 will also be discussed.

The CARICOM Bureau will also discuss matters related to the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ).

On the future of West Indies cricket, the CARICOM Bureau will discuss the establishment of a governance committee by the WICB.
