PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: Trinidad police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a St Vincent resident who has been found dead at the Queen's Park Savannah, Port of Spain.
The victim was found on Wednesday by a jogger.
The man, whose body was found slumped near the Queen's Royal College, was wearing a cream-colored t-shirt and underwear.
A national Identification card was found inside a pair of shorts near the body, bearing the name Walter Gerard De Freitas, age 64.
Following the discovery police say they were awaiting the man's relatives from St Vincent before a positive identification can be made.
There were no marks of violence on the body according to police sources. |
