British navy vessel on stopover in Cuba

Email To Friend Print Version | HAVANA, Cuba (ACN): British Royal Navy’s Fleet Auxilliary Wave Ruler anchored in Havana’s harbour for an authorised stopover on its route back to the UK.
The ship was welcomed in Havana by British ambassador to Cuba Dianne Melrose, defence advisor Neil Salisbury and the Chief of Operations of the Cuban Revolutionary Navy, Captain Pedro Roman Cisneros, as well as other officers of both countries, Granma daily reports.
During its five-day stay in Havana, the 81 crew members of the Wave Ruler will visit the Granma Cuban Naval Academy, the Jose Marti Memorial and the Hemingway Museum, among other sites of historic and cultural interest. | | | | Reads : 306 |
