PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: There is yet another allegation of examination leakage in Trinidad and Tobago; this time is in the country’s police examination for promotion from Corporal to Sergeant.
The alleged leak was raised in the House of Representative by Opposition Member of Parliament, Subhas Panday who said that the last examination for promotion was corrupted.
"Papers were leaked before the exam," Panday said, and adding that examination papers were also sold. The Trinidad Express reported that the Member of Parliament also disclosed that some officers were coached on the examination paper, and contended that persons who should not have passed were successful at the examination.
Another daily newspaper, the Trinidad Guardian carried a report about two weeks ago where the Prison Department had to postpone its promotional examination for 1200 to 1500 officers because of leakage.
These reports came months after it was discovered that there was a leak at the CXC examination which sparked off an intense investigation in the twin-island Republic. | | | | Reads : 176 |
