WINAIR announces revised summer flight schedule to Montserrat

BRADES, Montserrat -- The Montserrat Tourist Board has announced the release of Windward Island Airways’ (Winair) revised summer flight schedule that includes a minimum of three daily non-stop flights from VC Bird International Airport in Antigua to John A Osborne Airport in Montserrat during the months of July and August.

Winair will add a fourth flight to the schedule to accommodate passengers on high demand dates. In addition, the regional carrier’s contract, which was originally scheduled to end September 30, 2009, has been extended into 2010.
“As the scheduled air service provider to the destination, Winair is a vital part of our tourism industry,” said Ernestine Cassell, director of tourism. “We are pleased to see that the carrier is committed to making Montserrat more accessible by continuing to provide the traveling public with flight options especially during the summer travel season.” | | | | Reads : 877 | | | |
