HAVANA, Cuba (ACN) -- Cuba’s access to master’s degrees and postgraduate courses in Venezuela was highlighted at the 9th Joint Commission on Higher Education, held at Pueblo Guri, in the Venezuelan state of Bolivar.
At the meeting the participants also acknowledged Cuba’s collaboration in the project to take higher education to the municipalities, and the participation of Venezuelan students in scientific events.
Tibisay Hung, Venezuelan deputy Minister for Academic Development at the Higher Education Ministry, reported that over 4,000 Venezuelans are registered on postgraduate courses, publishes the Radio Habana Cuba’s website.
“We are getting ready to prepare a results report and to draw up new projects to be discussed at the 10th Joint Commission, to be held in Havana on December this year,” specified the official.
Meanwhile, Aurora Fernandez, Cuba’s deputy Minister for Higher Education, said her country is contributing to an evaluation that will enable them to promote careers in Venezuela related to the socioeconomic needs of the South American nation’s communities. | | | | Reads : 540 | | | |
