Graduates from St Kitts and Nevis return home from Cuba

HAVANA, Cuba (ACN) -- The Association of Students Graduated in Cuba of the St Kitts and Nevis Federation paid homage to four new members who recently concluded their studies in different specialities on the island.
The ceremony, held at the Cuban Embassy in Basseterre, was attended by Earl Assim Martin, Minister of Public Works, Utilities, Transportation, and Posts, who was the first in his country to graduate as a doctor in Cuba (1989).
Also participating in the ceremony were the Association’s president, Dwain Archibald and relatives of the new members, as well as Cuban collaborators and diplomats, the Cuban Foreign Ministry’s web site reports.
The new professionals are Akkra Assegai (Medicine), Ron Carty (Stomatology), Gaston Dixon (Electrical Engineering) and Sahara Maynard (Economy).
Addressing participants were Cuban Ambassador to St Kitts and Nevis, Ana Maria Gonzalez, Anglican Father Alric Frances, and Ron Carty, who graduated in eastern Santiago de Cuba province. | | | | Reads : 956 | | | |
