German firm wins $1.1bn contract for petrochemical plant in Trinidad

MUNICH, Germany (AFP): German engineering conglomerate MAN said Tuesday that it secured a contract worth 833 million euros (1.1 billion dollars) to build a petrochemicals complex in Trinidad and Tobago.
MAN said in a statement that its MAN Ferrostaal unit won the contract to build a plant for producing ammonia, urea ammonia nitrate and melamine.
