Kiwanis hold regional conference in St Lucia

CASTRIES, St Lucia: On Friday, February 2, and Saturday, February 3, 2007, Kiwanis representatives from 17 countries will be attending a regional conference in Saint Lucia.

There are over 600,000 members worldwide with a special interest in children and the Kiwanis have teamed up with United Nations Childrens Fund to undertake a new and demanding challenge - HIV/AIDS. As far as children are concerned, the Kiwanis Governor says it is time for positive action.

The Saint Lucia chapter of Kiwanis International is also planning to work with the UN Childrens Fund to develop and undertake a number of projects for children.
