"I feel happy that our businesses in Guyana find opportunties to work," Putin told Jagdeo at the Kremlin.

According to the Kremlin press service, Jagdeo's talks with business circles in Russia will include "investment and production activity in Guyana by the RusAl company.
"
RusAl already mines bauxite in Guyana and Jagdeo has announced he will discuss the possibility of building a processing plant for millions of tonnes of the ore, which is the main source of aluminium.

Despite the meetings, Jagdeo's visit is private, the Kremlin said. He is scheduled to leave Moscow on Friday.
