The Caribbean Gold Book becomes 'Caribbeantravel.com – The Travel Magazine'

Thursday, January 25, 2007

ORANJESTAD, Aruba: Gold Book Publishing, publishers of The Caribbean Gold Book, also known as the “travel agents’ bible to the Caribbean,” will undergo a comprehensive renovation under a new name and image: CaribbeanTravel.com – The Magazine. With this update, the publication broadens its scope, with a new format that includes more regional and destination editorial content, updated facts-at-a-glance in each issue, as well as more than 1,300 updated detailed hotel listings from 32 Caribbean destinations and an enhanced distribution to include IATA Agents.

The hotel listings and editorial content in CaribbeanTravel.com - The Magazine will be replicated on CaribbeanTravel.com, the website. This means travel agents can use the book and website in tandem - and consumers can access and browse the region’s lodging information online. “CaribbeanTravel.com is the definitive lodging web site for the greater Caribbean,” said Jill Jones, publisher.

Gold Book Publishing (GBP) is the publishing arm of the Caribbean Hotel Association; next year, it will mark its twenty-fifth anniversary serving the international travel trade.
