Second annual Turks & Caicos destination guide released
01-12-2007

PROVIDENCIALES, Turks & Caicos Islands: Vivid, colorful photography characterises the second annual destination guide published by the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA). Destination Turks & Caicos 2007 has been published and is now available, complementary, in every TCHTA member hotel room.

This year’s edition improves upon the inaugural issue with a new square format for visual punch, powerful photography and an expanding listing of TCHTA allied businesses, making the book not only comprehensive but also visually appealing.

“We are extremely proud of the way this year’s book has turned out,” said Caesar Campbell, CEO, Turks & Caicos Hotel & Tourism Association. “The quality of the production along with the richness of the content, makes our multi-island destination guide a beautiful, elegant and informative pictorial of the country. The old adage, ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ is certainly reflected throughout this year’s edition.”

The majority of the book's stunning photography was created exclusively for Destination Turks & Caicos by local firm Tropical Imaging and other talented local professional and amateur photographers contributed additional images.

The destination guide lists key information for all TCHTA members and allied businesses. More than 30 distinct accommodations, ranging from small hotels to large resorts and condominiums, are profiled, including a photo of the resort along with a description and contact information. In addition, the book includes information on all aspects of island living including island hopping, TCI history, nature and activities such as shopping, dining, water sports, and beachcombing.

Advertising revenue from the book is shared between the TCHTA and Times Publications. The TCHTA uses revenue from the destination guide for marketing and advertising purposes.

A copy of Destination Turks & Caicos 2007 is placed in every hotel room of each TCHTA member hotel and complimentary copies are distributed to businesses throughout the Islands.
