Therefore, I feel obliged to challenge his prediction instead of offering my own prognostications for the New Year.

I suppose Christians throughout the Caribbean should feel blessed that God did not inform Robertson that - in addition to sending terrorists to punish Americans for their sins - He will also be sending the mother of all hurricanes, around the same time, to punish us for our iniquities. I appreciate, however, that - since many of us have loved ones in America - his prediction might still be quite worrisome.

But, after tarrying in prayer for some clarification, I am pleased to inform you that God told me that He redirected Robertson’s prayer for an apocalyptic event to Osama bin Laden because He was tired of Robertson using His name in vain. 

For example, some of you may recall that, last January, Robertson announced - after Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon suffered a massive stroke - that God told him He struck down Sharon for daring to give Palestinians the Promised Land of the Jews. However, God told me that on that occasion He simply redirected Robertson’s prayer to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad...

As for the message with which this incorrigible Cassandra is now terrorizing America, I predict that, late in 2007, God will do to Robertson what he falsely claims God did to Sharon.

Finally, after God told me that He turned Robertson into a laughing stock as punishment for preaching so much nonsense in His name, I could not resist asking what He has in store for other self-professed men of God who are using His name to sow worldwide discord amongst their brethren. Accordingly, since the Anglican Church was formed as a Holy matrimony between Him and man, I asked the Lord to explain why He’s allowing a few homophobic Anglican bishops to put His Church asunder?

And, God told me that He is almost as annoyed with these religious bigots as He is with Robertson.  Therefore, I predict that when renegade Anglican Bishops retreat to The Bahamas on 15 January to consummate a new church in their image (i.e. one which discriminates against His homosexual and female children, the way white Baptists in America once discriminated against blacks), God will render them impotent by turning them into submissive eunuchs...
