Another Beharry from Grenada completes UK army training

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada: Together with more than 100 soldiers Grenada’s Private Jeffery Beharry 23, brother of Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry successfully completed his Phase One training at a Passing Out parade held at the Army Training Regiment in London.

For the Beharry family this is a double success. His brother Johnson Beharry was awarded the Victoria Cross for two separate acts of outstanding gallantry of the highest order based in Amarah Iraq in 2004.

Private Beharry will now move on to the Defence College of Logistics in the New Year where he will train to become a driver in the Royal Logistic Corps.

Lance Corporal Beharry VC is currently in Grenada spending his Christmas vacation with his family.
