Samsung wins $176m Trinidad refinery order

SEOUL, South Korea (Bloomberg): Samsung Engineering Co., a South Korean construction company, has said it received a $176 million order to build a refinery for Petrotrin, the state oil company of Trinidad and Tobago.

The heavy-naphtha processing plant is slated for completion by early November 2008, Seoul-based Samsung Engineering said in a regulatory filing Sunday from the South Korean capital.
