Cuba reports two million tourists this year

HAVANA, Cuba: Cuba's Tourism Ministry has reported that two million tourists picked the island as their vacation destination this year.
The figure exceeds previous annual statistics for the third year in a row, which proves the quality of the island's tourism offering, Cuban television reported on Wednesday.
According to local reports, there is an increasing number of visitors from different countries who feel attracted, not only by the tropical sun and local beaches, but also by the safety offered to visitors, the local nature, historic and cultural values as well as the hospitality of the Cuban people.
