Grenada PM to represent the region at CWC brand launch

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada: Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr Keith Mitchell is to represent the region at the Global Brand Launch of the International Cricket Council 2007 World Cup in India.

Mitchell will also be the featured speaker at the event, where he will join ICC top executives in a global promotion exercise aimed at marketing the 2007 World Cup to its largest market, the Indian and Asian market.
He will also meet with Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh to discuss further cooperation between the Governments of Grenada and the Government of India. The Government of India is already providing technical support to the Grenada Government in the area of Information and Communication Technology.
Meanwhile, Grenada’s Minister of Sports, Roland Bhola, is also on an overseas assignment. The meeting, organized by the Chinese Government, will explore a number of issues aimed at deepening the cooperation between China and the entire region.
At the meeting, which started Monday, Bhola will address a number of issues specific to the Grenada/China agreement including sports, tourism development, the development of cultural exchanges and agricultural cooperation.
