Cricket Hospitality launches World Cup packages

CHRIST CHURCH, Barbados: As of 1st May 2006, Cricket Hospitality 2007 is offering hospitality packages to ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 via a network of recently appointed Official Sales Agents. These agents, based in the UK, South Africa, India, Australia, Canada / USA and throughout the Caribbean, have global sales rights to enable them to sell any match packages to any individual, anywhere in the world.

Cricket Hospitality 2007 has been appointed the sole Official Hospitality Services Provider for next year’s tournament by ICC CWC 2007 Inc, and is proud to be able to offer hospitality through various package options that promise to be as uniquely colourful as the Caribbean itself, and reflective of its lively, captivating atmosphere.

“We have designed a number of match day packages to embrace all the cultural traditions of each host nation, and deliver a true Caribbean atmosphere, whilst maintaining the professional standards expected of a world-class mega sporting event!”, says Chris Bruton - CEO of Cricket Hospitality 2007, the official hospitality agents for ICC CWC 2007.

The hospitality packages sold for the World Cup will differ in order to meet the varied requirements of the cricketing community, but will all consist of the following:

  • An ICC CWC 2007 themed match pack.
  • A match programme and scorecard
  • Souvenir gift for each guest (not available with Hamper and Sports Bar packages)
  • Experienced professional hostesses on hand throughout the day
  • Reserved parking at venues (subject to availability)

The five hospitality packages on offer are as follows;

The Suite Package: This package includes tickets and full accreditation to the Suite (Box) for all six or seven matches at the ground. A choice of catering options will be offered which clients may vary match by match, including a selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. These packages will be available at certain grounds only and must be bought in their entirety. Prices will start at $2,000 per person (for all matches at that venue).

The Grandstand package: This high end package includes category 1 tickets with everyone seated together and full accreditation into the hospitality facility inside the stadium. A Caribbean buffet breakfast will be available before the start of play, Caribbean bar inc. premium beers, wines and soft drinks throughout the day, a light buffet at lunch, and a superb post match supper with drinks. This will all be capped by a great Caribbean party after the game and the chance to mingle with cricketing celebrities. Prices will start from $449 per person. Private tables for parties of ten will be available.

The Enclosure Package: This package becomes available once the Grandstand has sold out. This package includes category 1 tickets with everyone seated together, full accreditation into the hospitality village adjacent to the stadium, Caribbean buffet breakfast, a light lunch and a sumptuous post match supper with drinks. A complimentary Caribbean bar with a choice of wines, beers and soft drinks will keep you cool, whilst colour televisions in the village ensure you won’t miss a ball. Private tables will be available for parties of 10, more cricketing celebrities will talk you through the days play, and the post-match party is sure to excite. Prices will start at $449 per person per match.

The Hamper Package: This package is for the true cricket fan, and includes tickets to the best available seats with everyone seated together, full accreditation into the hospitality facility adjacent to the stadium and a Caribbean buffet breakfast before play. To ensure that you don’t miss a single catch or drive, a high quality hamper lunch with beers and wines will be provided for you to take to your seat. A complimentary Caribbean bar awaits you in the village, as does an invite to the post-match party (subject to availability). This package will be sold in multiples of two only, beginning at $369 per person.

The Sports Bar: This is a budget package only available at selected matches. This package includes the best available tickets with everyone seated together, full accreditation into the Sports Bar adjacent to the stadium and a light breakfast before play. A fork buffet lunch and complimentary Caribbean bar with a choice of beers, wines and soft drinks await you in the hospitality facility. These packages are from $269 per person.

More fun after cricket

As the teams leave the field, hospitality clients will retire to their facilities for the evening supper and an exclusive Caribbean fete, with sounds and sights that will add the finishing touch to the total Caribbean hospitality experience.
