OECS energy task force to meet in Antigua

ST JOHN’S, Antigua: The third meeting of the OECS Energy Task Force will be held in Antigua and Barbuda on Tuesday April 18.
The meeting will allow for continued discussions on issues related to the PetroCaribe Agreements and potential elements for an OECS Collective Agreement which will include greater private sector involvement for storage and distribution of petroleum products within the parameters of the agreement.
Included in the agenda will also be a discussion of the elements of an OECS Energy Policy and the proposed retail oil pricing mechanisms in the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union.
Antigua and Barbuda has invited a Venezuelan delegation to make a presentation to the meeting on the PetroCaribe issue.
