PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad: Talks on the Free Trade Area of the Americas will be crucial to the twin-island's Republic bid to host the organisation's headquarters.
The Trinidad Guardian quoted Trade Minister, Mr. Ken Valley, as saying, the Trade Negotiations Committee meeting, which takes place from 30th September 30 to 3rd October, will be a platform for T&T to showcase its assets.
T&T faces competition from other contenders, Miami and Panama.
