PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti: Supporters of a 'ghetto Robin Hood,' continued their protest yesterday, clashing with police just four days after Mr. Amiot Metayer, leader of the so-called "Cannibal Army, " was found shot to death.
Police fired teargas at the crowds of demonstrators, who continued to protest the killing of the gang leader and Aristide loyalist, independent Radio Vision 2000 reported.
At least three people were injured with gunshot wounds during the protests in the northwestern town of Gonaives, about 110 kilometers (70 miles) northwest of Port-au-Prince, the Associated Press reported.
Schools, public buildings and stores remain closed in the town, still smoldering from burning barricades.
