CHARLESTOWN, Nevis -- The Ministry of Health of the Nevis Island Administration has appointed Eaglemount Ltd of the Cayman Islands as special strategic advisor to Hensley Daniel, Deputy Premier and Minister of Health.

Eaglemount specialises in government relations and strategic healthcare advisory services for nations of the Caribbean Basin. During this two-year agreement, Eaglemount will assist the Ministry on priority tasks that will be outlined by the Minister and the Premier.

“The Ministry has utmost respect for the capabilities of Eaglemount and has every hope that it can provide valuable support for Ministry in providing sustainable solutions to health care in the context of the structural challenges that effect our small nation,” said Daniel.

“We are pleased to have been selected to serve the people of Nevis. We offer the advantage of having practical experience throughout the Caribbean, Latin America and the USA with a unique understanding of Caribbean needs, resource limitations and business culture,” said William Peguero Sr, CEO of Eaglemount Ltd.

“CMN congratulates Nevis and Eaglemount on this milestone. Eaglemount is our strategic advisor to the governments of the Caribbean. CMN is available to Eaglemount to provide additional support to Nevis beyond the off-island cases already being managed by CMN,” said Alex Kroon, president and CEO of CMN Inc., an international health management company.

CMN has for many years been assisting governments and insurance companies across the Caribbean and Bermuda to successfully manage complex and expensive American and global healthcare systems. In partnership with Eaglemount’s consulting and government relations services, CMN offers governments medical case management, proprietary medical provider networks, and claims processing services.

“Working together we can help Nevis ensure that patients have access to and receive medical care at world-class facilities, at the best price,” said Peguero.
