Hurricane Ivan nears the Windward Islands
MIAMI,
USA: According to the National Hurricane Center in Miami, at 11 pm EDT Monday
the center of Hurricane Ivan was located near latitude 11.2 north, longitude
57.2 west or about 210 miles southeast of Barbados. Ivan is moving toward the
west near 21 mph. Reconnaissance aircraft provided a fix to the south of the
