Barbados & Guyana to meet in Red Stripe finals

DISCOVERY BAY, Jamaica: A win over Trinidad & Tobago by defending champion Barbados ensured their place in the Red Stripe Bowl finals tomorrow in Jamaica. Barbados soundly won yesterday's second semi-finals match-up by 61 runs at the Kaiser Sports Club.
The Bajans scored 175 in 48.2 overs, after winning the toss and batting first. But Trinidad & Tobago could only manage 114 runs before they were bowled out in the 36th over.  Left-arm medium-fast bowler Ian Bradshaw was the hero of the Bajan victory, ending with the impressive figures of five wickets for 22 runs off his 10 overs, CMC reports indicate.
