Gas prices to rise in Trinidad & Tobago
PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad: If you are a motorist in Trinidad & Tobago, then get ready to pay more at the pump. In the first fuel price increase in years, the Trinidad Guardian yesterday quoted Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Mr. Patrick Manning, as saying that leaded super gasoline will be replaced by a more expensive unleaded 92 Ron grade fuel that will cost consumers $2.70 or 25 cents more per litre at the pump.
Leaded fuel will be completely phased out by April next year, the PM said.
