Hurricane Kate hovers near Bermuda

MIAMI, Florida: The center of Hurricane Kate was located near
latitude about 580 miles east of Bermuda late last night and was moving toward the west near 8 mph per hour. The storm was forecasted to turn toward the north today. Maximum sustained winds were near 115 mph with higher gusts expected.   Kate has become the third major hurricane of the Atlantic season and runs from 1st June through 30th November.
