Fabian still threatens Caribbean
MIAMI, Florida: As of 11 p.m. last night, Hurricane Fabian continued to intensify, moving west-northwest, though it was not estimated to reach land until the next 24 hours. According to the National Hurricane Center, the center of the hurricane was located about 710 miles or 1150 km east of the Lesser Antilles.

BWIA's financial troubles could soon be over

GENEVA, Switzerland: The European Union refusal to allow imports of biotech food has angered World Trade Organization officials and left developing countries fearful. The WTO on Friday, 29th August, decided to set up a panel of experts to rule on the legality of the EU's refusal, AP reported.
