KINGSTON, Jamaica: The Travel Channel will continue to showcase the island of Jamaica as a prime vacation destination to millions of viewers around the world. 'Jamaica: The Ultimate Tour', a full length feature on the island's tourism product, which had its world premiere on the Travel Channel on Thursday, September 15, will be screened on different dates until September 24. The dates and times (EST) are: Thursday, September 22, at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, September 24, at 3:00 p.m. In the feature, Prime Minister P. J. Patterson and correspondent, Peter Greenberg of the Travel Channel, take viewers on a unique journey around the island, providing an inspiring perspective on the cultural diversity and adventurous opportunities in different regions of the country. The travelogue, a major collaborative effort between the Jamaica Tourist Board and the Travel Channel, is expected to provide an alternative to those holiday seekers who want more than just the sun, sea and sand. The Travel Channel is a service of Discovery Networks, USA and serve as the definitive guide to travel and leisure around the world.
