LONDON, England: Jamaican international Deon Burton says he is eagerly awaiting the away fixture between his current club Rotherham and his former, Brentford, in the Coca-Cola Football League One.
The 28-year-old striker was given a free transfer by Brentford at the end of last season and he says he can't wait to return to Griffin Park.
"I cannot wait to play Brentford," Burton told BBC Sport on Monday. "It is going to be a very good day.... it is the first thing that I looked for."
Burton has netted six goals in his eight starts this season, including a hat-trick in a 4-0 hammering of lowly placed Blackpool on August 27, and he told BBC Sports that he is "loving it."
He added that: "I don't know too much about the past here - all I can say is about the squad and I don't think there are many teams that will look forward to coming here."
Burton's hat-trick against Blackpool was his first ever in his professional career and he said he's looking for to scoring a few more during the season.
"I got my first hat-trick and I'm now looking to get a few more this season. It was great feeling and the ball is at home in the cabinet," the Jamaican said.
Burton, the joint-second top scorer in the division this season is popularly known for his duties as a Reggae Boy in their "Road To France" campaign, scoring in almost every game to inspire the Jamaicans to their first ever entry at a World Cup Finals in 1998.
At the weekend, the former Derby County striker hit a classic past Gillingham's goalkeeper Jason Brown in the 81 minute to guide his team to a 3-0 win in-front of 4,253 home supporters.
