University of the West Indies nude moment

PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: Known as the highest institution of learning in the Caribbean, the St. Augustine Campus of the University of the West Indies got its integrity compromised when a professor and a 20 year old student were caught half naked and intoxicated in a parked vehicle in the vicinity of the University Villas. 

The professor and the student were found by police officers who happened to be on mobile patrol between the hours of 4:30 and 5:00pm. They were both taken to the St. Joseph Police Station.

As if that was not bad enough, the parents of the girl were contacted and the wife of the professor was also contacted.

Popular talk show hosts in Trinidad took up the story, but many of the callers expressed sympathy for the parents of the student and the wife of the professor.

One of the hosts felt that this type of misbehavior is commonplace between students and teachers in the interest of granting favourable pass grades to some of the female students.

In the light of the example set by the prominent UWI professor, many concluded and agreed with the old saying that “even though you send a donkey to University to get a degree, it will only return as a well educated donkey.”
