PORT OF SPAIN, Trinidad: Trinidadian fashion
designer, Claudia Pegus, was recently given the opportunity to present Nelson
Mandela, with pieces specially designed for the famous figure.
Pegus's haute couture designs have made
their way around the world and into the closets of some very famous people who
have welcomed her one-of-a-kind masterpieces created from the finest silks,
georgette and linen with detailed embroidery and beading.
Pegus said that she was "proud" and
"honoured" to have created the pieces with Mandela in mind and would forever
treasure the photos of this personal accomplishment and compliment.
