Cuban refugee criticises human rights violations in the Cayman Islands

GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands: In a letter to
Cayman Net News, Dr Luis M Luarca, a Cuban refugee in the Cayman Islands, asks
if people are aware and informed of human rights violations in the Cayman
Islands which, he says, is one of the reasons he wants to return to Cuba.
Dr Luarca, who says he is head of the “Cuban Restoration Project”, goes on to
protest the latest UN vote concerning the Cuban Government’s human rights
violation record.
According to Dr Luarco, the Cuban dissidents
are far worse than Fidel Castro.
