Jamaica to play Nigeria

LAGOS, Nigeria (AFP): Nigeria has lined up a friendly international against Jamaica in England next month.

A Nigeria Football Association official said the Super Eagles will play Jamaica on May 29 in a three-nation tournament.

The Eagles, who are expected to line up their Europe-based stars, defeated Jamaica 1-0 as part of their preparations for the 2002 World Cup.

The matches are to prepare Nigeria for their World Cup/African Nations Cup qualifying campaign which starts on June 4 at home against Rwanda.
