
Innovative Communication names Sir Ronald Sanders to international relations position

WEST PALM BEACH, USA: Sir Ronald Sanders has
been appointed executive director for international relations of Innovative
Communication Corporation, it was announced Monday by Jeffrey J. Prosser, ICC
chairman, president and CEO. Sir Ronald, who
has been a member of ICC’s board of directors since the company’s inception,
will be responsible for the company’s international relations throughout the
Caribbean basin, Europe and Central America.
Until recently he was Antigua and Barbuda’s
Senior Ambassador with special responsibilities for negotiations on financial
and trade matters in the World Trade Organization and with the International
Monetary Fund and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
He serves as chairman of the Caribbean
Financial Action Task Force to counter money laundering and the financing of
terrorism. “ICC is delighted that Sir Ronald
will extend his functions as a member of our board of directors to be
responsible for the company’s international relations,” said Prosser. “ICC now
operates in several countries of the world and interfaces with many
international organizations and Sir Ronald’s vast experience will enhance our
relationships with these countries and agencies.”
Innovative, a privately held company, has telecommunications and media
operations in the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten, Saint-Martin,
Guadeloupe, Martinique, Belize and France. Belize Telecom Ltd. is the main
telecommunications provider in Belize.
