Antigua PM leads team in talks with ECCB officials

ST. JOHN'S, Antigua: Antigua and Barbuda's newly appointed Prime Minister Baldwin Spencer, is heading a four-man team of Ministers in discussions with a team of officials from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB).

Heading the ECCB delegation is Governor of the ECCB Sir K. Dwight Venner.

PM Spencer welcomed Sir Dwight and his team to Antigua and Barbuda stressing that they will now be working with a "government in the sunshine". He thanked them for accepting the invitation to hold discussions early in the life of his administration, adding that he is looking forward to a good working relationship with the ECCB.

Sir Dwight congratulated Mr. Spencer on his recent appointment as Prime Minister and the success of his United Progressive Party (UPP) in the recently held general elections.
