Twelve bids for CWC 2007 hosting

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: The ICC Cricket World Cup West Indies (WI) 2007 Inc. has confirmed that there are twelve official bid committees for the Host Venue Selection Tender which will determine the countries to host matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2007.

The twelve bid committees have been authorised by the recognised cricket association and Government of each country and includes the following territories: Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, and the United States of America. 

The chairpersons of the registered bid committees are:

Chris de Caires, Barbados
Molwyn Joseph, Antigua & Barbuda
Reginald Pearman, Bermuda
Deborah Ebanks, Cayman Islands
Roy O'Neale, Grenada
Gail Teixeira, Guyana
Wayne Reid, Jamaica
Charles Wilkin, St. Kitts and Nevis
Mario Michel, St. Lucia
Maurice Edwards, St. Vincent & the Grenadines
Roger Boynes, Trinidad & Tobago
Lance Gibbs, United States.
