LONDON, England: Grenadian residents in the United Kingdom were saddened to learn of the recent flooding which resulted in damage and loss of property in the River Road area of St. George's on Friday December 12.

High Commissioner Ruth Rouse, was at the time addressing nationals, following the Annual Grenada Mass on the occasion of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Patron Saint of Grenada, on Saturday December 13 at the St Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, Thornton Heath, London.

Special prayers were said for the Government and people of Grenada, led by Bishop Tripp. The mass has been celebrated for the past 19 years, an event which brings together a wide cross-section of the Grenadian Community in the United Kingdom.
