
Windies have to settle for a draw

HARARE, Zimbabwe: The West Indies had to settle for a draw as Zimbabwe A reached 246-9 in reply to Windies' 343-6 declared.
Teenage West Indies pacer Jerome Taylor took 6-58 (10 wickets for the match) and Vasbert Drakes chipped in with two but Zimbabwe rallied from 191-8 to 246 for 9 at the close.
Craig Evans hit 59 for the hosts in their second innings, while Gavin Ewing remained defiant on 42.
Earlier, Marlon Samuels blasted 147, while Daren Ganga hit 69 not out in the visitors' second innings.
The first Test starts on 4 November in Harare.
FINAL SCORES: West Indies 404-5 declared (Daren Ganga 110, Shiv Chanderpaul 102 retired, Marlon Samuels 66 not out; ) and 343-6 declared (Marlon Samuels 147, Daren Ganga 69 not out, Carlton Baugh 44).
Zimbabwe 'A' 242 all out (S Matsikenyeri 84 not out, V Sibanda 51; Vasbert Drakes 5-66, Jerome Taylor 4-46) and 246-9 (C Evans 59, B Rogers 45; Jerome Taylor 6-58, Vasbert Drakes 2-30).
