China's culture minister visits the Bahamas

NASSAU, Bahamas: Mr Heping Zhou, Vice-Minister of Culture of the People's Republic of China, arrived in Nassau Sunday for a three-day visit. 

After he touched down at Nassau International Airport on a commercial flight from Miami, the Vice-Minister was welcomed by Mr Dongcun Jaio, the Chinese Ambassador to the Bahamas, and Mr. Harrison Thompson, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture. 

The Vice-Minister and his delegation will tour Nassau and Paradise Island on Tuesday before attending an evening of cultural entertainment by the Hebei Acrobatic and Martial Arts Troupe.
