Constitutional talks open in Montserrat today

BRADES, Montserrat: A four member British team arrived in Montserrat Wednesday night to hold constitutional talks with members of the Montserrat Legislative Council on October 23.
The UK team comprises Mr Alan Huckle, Ms Susan Dickson, Mr Ian Hendry and Mr Michael Bradley.
The Governor, Anthony Longrigg, and members of the British team will meet with the Mr John Osborne, Chief Minister of Montserrat and other Government Ministers this
morning and are scheduled to hold discussions with the Mr Rueben T. Meade and members of the Opposition
in the afternoon.
The British officials are also slated to hold talks with a cross section of local lawyers and other interest groups over dinner at the Governor's official residence
this evening.
The UK team leaves the island on Friday afternoon.
